Our Story

Founded by local farmers and lifelong beekeepers Michael and Christine, St. Michael’s Farms began as a simple hobby that quickly grew into something much more. What started with a passion for beekeeping has blossomed into a thriving farm rooted in sustainability, community, and a deep respect for the land.

With over a decade of beekeeping experience, Michael spent years producing and selling honey locally before expanding the apiary with additional hives. Today, we proudly produce PURE, local raw honey—rich in natural enzymes, pollen, and all the goodness straight from the hive. Alongside our traditional honey, we’ve developed a distinctive line of infused honeys crafted with real ingredients like flowers, herbs, and spices that are designed to elevate everyday foods into something memorable.

Since officially opening our doors in 2020, St. Michael’s Farms has grown to become Colorado’s largest elderberry producer. What began with a focus on elderberries quickly expanded, driven by our commitment to both nutrition and innovation,—offered fresh, dried, and frozen.

Our elderberry syrup, once a standout product at local farmers markets, has become a trusted go-to nationwide because it’s made with simple, effective ingredients that people can feel good about and rely on. Today, our full line of elderberry products, infused honeys, and our new convenient Squeeze Me Honey pouches can be found in local retailers and are increasingly featured in collaborations with other brands who value quality and purity as much as we do.
